Oakland’s sewer lateral ordinance has been continually delayed.  We’ve been watching it carefully for some time as it can have serious consequences for both buyers and sellers and add unexpected costs to the transaction.  We’ve just been updated that it will be taking effect on December 19th.  If you are buying or selling with us, rest assured that we’ll give you plenty of advance notice and walk you through the implications for your own situation.
